Peninsula Bay - Full Residential Design

The house designed by Architect Anne Salmon involved a challenging slope from the road up to the entrance to the house.Our involvement was the overall landscape design including the parking, entrance, pedestrian access / circulation, outdoor spaces and planting design and overseeing the implementation ofour design. 

As a design response the slope was broken down into a board formed concrete retaining wall planted area to give privacy, one carpark and a set of small steps through a dry tolerant garden to large timber decks at the front door.

Plantation Road - Residential Design

This project involved the redevelopment of an existing townhouse garden which was overgrown and dark. A Landscape Concept Plan was prepared to create a more inviting  entrance to the property, a sunny morning space, outdoor dining spaces, retaining planters, vegetable garden and utility areas.

Revegetation

This project involved the planting of a very steep north facing slope at the entrance to Wanaka. The revegetation required the use of a geotextile matting which was pinned over the slope to reduce erosion and provide a biodegradable mulch for the eco-sourced native plants from the Wanaka area.
